The KAI-ZEN EVENT (Japanese for take apart & make better or good change) is the methodology to implement Lean principles. A typical process reengineering kaizen event involves 3 to 5 days dedicated full time to cross-functional teams (5-8 members) to eliminate process waste in all its forms. We offer LEANGOV management and training seminars for government professionals.
As Florida residents we understand the Prop 1 budget challenges that we will see in 2009 and beyond. In Florida and nationally governments will be challenged to do more, faster, with less. This service delivery crisis can be mitigated by embracing the Lean principles that Toyota Motor Company pioneered and hundreds of Public and Private sector have pursued relentlessly for over 65 years. LEAN principles have been proven in private companies as well as State and Local governments throughout the US. This is not a flavor of the month or silver bullet, it is a systematic approach to identifying and eliminating waste in Government services.

We conduct comprehensive two-day seminars for local government managers, senior staff and elected officials. These seminars are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the nature and application of LEAN philosophy and methods to the public sector. You will learn the how and why of Kaizen Event driven process reengineering. You will understand the revolutionary results and dramatic breakthrough and efficiencies that your government entity can achieve by adopting the LEANGOV continuous improvement philosophy.
